Glogster is a web tool that allows users to create virtual posters incorporating text, images, videos, links and music. It was originally founded in 2007 as a social network but later launched an education version in 2009. Glogster can be used as an alternative to traditional teaching by engaging visual, auditory and tactile learners and stimulating creative self-expression through a rich multimedia format. Teachers can create virtual classrooms on Glogster EDU to monitor students, check progression, provide feedback and see examples of student-created glogs for various subjects.
