Global warming refers to the average increase in Earth's temperature that has various causes and effects. The main causes contributing to global warming include burning fossil fuels which release carbon dioxide, pollution from factories, and other human activities that emit pollutants. Scientists have found that global warming is more prominent now than in previous centuries, and the United Nations is researching its effects. Human-caused factors like vehicle and industrial emissions, as well as agricultural practices, are major contributors to rising global temperatures, though reducing energy usage and transitioning to cleaner energy can help limit global warming.
