Global warming is caused by human activities like driving cars and using electricity which release greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. As the planet warms, some areas will experience more severe droughts and heat waves while sea levels will rise from melting ice caps. To help address global warming, individuals can carpool, take public transportation, turn off electronics when not in use, and bike or walk for short trips to reduce their carbon footprint.

2. What is Global Warming ? Global Warming is mainly the increase of carbon-dioxide in the atmosphere. Please help!!!! Save me, I am getting destroyed.

It is the result of the various human activities, automobiles, electrical gadgets, etc. Harmful gases produced in factories are released in the atmosphere through chimneys; gases like carbon monoxide, sulphur dioxide are released by the burning of petrol and diesel in a car engine.

4. It’s effects As northern countries will become warmer, disease carrying insects will migrate to north, bringing diseases with them. Although some areas of Earth will become wetter due to global warming, other areas will suffer serious droughts and heat waves. Melting ice caps will raise sea levels and it will also disturb the global ecosystem.

5. How can we help? We can help protect our earth by global warming in the following ways :- We should do carpooling. We should use public vehicles like bus, metros, etc. We should always switch off the electrical gadgets when they are not in use. We should ride a bicycle or walk for short distances.
