Australia is home to unique animals like the kangaroo, platypus, and koala which eats leaves from eucalyptus trees. Other animals that live in Australia include the wombat that lives in burrows and the large flightless emu. Another animal is the sugar glider that glides between trees.
The document provides information about the pica-soques bird in Catalan. It describes the physical characteristics of the pica-soques such as its long beak, feathers, wings, eyes, claws, and feet. It discusses how they use their long sticky tongue to catch insects and what they eat. It notes that pica-soques live in forests, nesting in tree holes that they make with their beaks. The document also describes how pica-soques reproduce, lay eggs, and are cared for by both parents. It lists different types of pica-soques and includes a poem and song about the bird.
The document appears to be a poem or rhyme in Catalan. It describes various nature objects including leaves dancing in the wind without stopping, acorns that bring fear causing everyone to flee instantly, a small snail like a hazelnut that is not an ox, chestnuts that are chocolate colored and explode with great fury when put in the oven, and a mushroom with a bed and hat that stands upright.
Birds build nests out of materials like twigs, leaves, mud and grass to lay and hatch eggs, with some like woodpeckers and barbets making nests inside tree trunk holes and others like tailorbirds sewing leaves together into pockets for soft grass nests, while koels lay eggs in other birds' nests and male weaver birds build nests for females to choose from.
The document summarizes various physical characteristics of dolphins in response to questions from children. It describes that dolphins are born from their mother's womb like humans, have three parts to their body - head, trunk and fins as limbs, and have 80 teeth used to grasp and swallow food whole rather than for chewing. It also notes that dolphins need to surface every two minutes to breathe through a hole in their head called a blowhole, and can hold their breath for up to 20 minutes.

pipistrello, l’orso ecc…
8. IL SEMILETARGO
Alcuni animali, invece, come lo
scoiattolo e la marmotta, dormono e
ogni tanto si svegliano per mangiare
qualcosa e poi si riaddormentano.
Le loro provviste sono nocciole,
ghiande, bacche ecc...
11. MIMETISMO
cambiando colore, diventando bianchi come
la neve. La parola mimetismo, infatti, deriva
dal greco “mimetizo” che significa “imitare”.
21. LA MIGRAZIONE
La migrazione per gli uccelli avviene solo
d’inverno.

nascondigli dove sarebbe molto difficile poterli
trovare.
mesi freddi e condizioni avverse. Molti
freddi, rifugiate in ambienti riparati, in attesa
della stagione più mite (Vanessa atalanta).
30. In molte specie, come nel podalirio (Iphiclides
podalirius), le larve si impupano durante la
stagione invernale, per compiere direttamente
la metamorfosi nell’individuo adulto in
primavera.
31. Le coccinelle in inverno affrontano il freddo
raggruppandosi in gran numero sotto rocce, fitta
vegetazione o in qualche ambiente chiuso da
tempo.
è direttamente proporzionale all’intensità del
loro colore.
33. Le strategie adottate dagli insetti sono
molteplici e variegate ma hanno come
unico scopo quello, non tanto di
permettere la sopravvivenza del singolo
individuo, ma di prediligere la
prosecuzione della specie.
