Use this slide to cover Glacier at a glance.
Acquisitions of businesses, establishment of international facilities, movement in multi-skilled, turnkey projects and mention of preferred partner relationships.
TRIR Trend – TRIR shows our incident performance since 2013 (we could provide monthly stats). Demonstrates our continued commitment to safety with only 1 recordable incident in 2015 where employee stepped off bottom step of customer built scaffold steps (Belgium), slipped on ice breaking two metatarsals.
FPAL Trend is based on the scoring assessment sheet jointly completed by customer and discussed with the Glacier sales representative. The trend shows our improvement from a score of 8 to 9. Important tool that we use for understand our customer satisfaction level & also drives us to improve our customer service.
In todays market Glacier recognise there is a need to deliver services cost effectively and provide value to our clients
We have restructured our business to allow us to do this, multi service offering
We have created a low overhead structure
We can be nimble, scale up and scale down to suit project needs quickly
We don’t have the overhead and back office staff that the large tier 1 service companies require, ie more competitive than likes of Doosan and Jacobs
We have specialist skills that can maximise performance at power plants
In an increasingly cost driven market, our wide breadth of specialisms negate the need for costly sub contracted services and allow us to drive real value through to our clients.
This slide shows on the left hand side the current status of a contract with multiple contractors & suppliers. The image on the right shows the harmony of a project when using Glacier Energy Services Ltd.

Professional Testing Services provides tube testing solutions through differing complementary techniques in order to give you an insight into the tube condition of
your heat exchangers. With this conditional information, preventative maintenance can be carried out such as re-plugging or re-tubing.
Roberts Machining Solutions offers three ranges of cutting equipment for subsea, topside and single man use. Our equipment is renowned for its accuracy of cut, 100% rigidity during cutting, efficiency, ease of maintenance, decontamination and longevity.
A full service offering can also be provided through our Onsite Machining team i.e. fully engineer the scope, provide men and machines on site to carryout the work
As well as the provision of weld overlay services, Wellclad can provide a full management solution for its customers. This service covers complete Welding Services
welding provision, planning and scheduling, management reporting, and technical expertise incorporating weld engineering and metallurgy as required.
PED ( Pressure equipment directive) standard for pressure equipment in Europe all items shipped within the Europe must be assessed and given a design regulation based on the fluid, pressure and volume.
ASME VIII & EN13445 are mechanical design codes for pressure vessels and standardise the material quality and calculations required for designing a heat exchanger.
HTFS Thermal Design software is now part of the Aspentech group and gives the ability to design all types of heat exchangers from first principles as well as re-engineering. The software is used globally and has a long history of proven design and testing to give the most accurate, efficient and cost efficient designs.
Aspentech Mechanical design is used in conjunction with HTFS for the design of heat exchangers in accordance with PED, ASME, EN13445 & TEMA. The software allows us to design and optimise quickly and easily while staying in accordance with these standards.
Solid works & Inventor are used within the group for 3d draughting of assemblies, allowing a model of the unit to be created before manufacture to improve, optimize and resolve any problems. Where possible the model can be integrated into the clients to allow for the same techniques to be applied.
