The objective of the presentation is to share good practices in promoting and supporting entrepreneurship within higher education. It will also elaborate on actions which were taken by Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education to examine the progress of Polish higher education institutions (HEIs) towards becoming “entrepreneurial HEIs”, improving efficiency of transition from education to the labor market, increasing the usefulness of competences acquired by university graduates for the labor market, improving access to information about the graduates’ career paths in the labor market. Poland has been implementing the new graduate tracking system in order to get reliable and comparable data on graduates’ employment outcomes. It will be based on administrative data: matching database of graduates with anonymized data from the Social Insurance Institution focuses on transversal skills. Since 2014 Poland has been implementing the competency development programme which will support the training sessions and workshops aimed at increasing the skills and competences most relevant to the labour market, including entrepreneurship, but also interpersonal skills, including efficient use of the Polish language (literacy skills), formulating opinions, teamwork, negotiation techniques, additional courses delivered jointly with employers, career guidance. In October 2014 the Ministry and the National Centre of Research and Development announced the new competition, supported by the European Social Fund, for projects supporting career offices and career guidance in particular. Presentation will introduce the most important achievements of the objectives referred to the Frames of European cooperation on education and training.

A Russian journal “Vocational education” has recently published an article by Petri Lempinen, an ETF expert and country manager for the Russian Federation.
Mr Lempinen writes about skills competition and Russia joining them.
Skills competitions can be used as a tool to develop vocational education and training, if competitions are connected to everyday teaching and other activities of VET colleges. This will take years to achieve as example from Finland has showed, but in the end efforts will be rewarded.
Russian Federation has joined the World Skills International, a non profit organisation to promote worldwide awareness of the contribution that skills and high standards of competence make to the achievement of economic success and individual fulfilment. Membership in WSI makes Russians a family member of “Olympic Games of the vocational training“. It is also an excellent piece of news to all friends of skills competitions.

Exploring Factors Affecting the Success of TVET-Industry Partnership: A Case ...AJHSSR Journal
ABSTRACT: The purpose of this study was to explore factors affecting the success of TVET-industry
partnerships. A case study design of the qualitative research method was used to achieve this objective. For the
study, one polytechnic college of Oromia regional state, and two industries were purposively selected. From the
sample polytechnic college and industries, a total of 17 sample respondents were selected. Out of 17
respondents, 10 respondents were selected using the snowball sampling method, and the rest 7 respondents were
selected using the purposive sampling technique. The qualitative data were collected through an in-depth
interview and document analysis. The data were analyzed using thematic approaches. The findings revealed that
TVET-industry partnerships were found weak. Lack of key stakeholder‟s awareness shortage of improved
training equipment and machines in polytechnic colleges, absence of trainee health insurance policy, lack of
incentive mechanisms for private industries, lack of employer industries involvement in designing and
developing occupational standards, and preparation of curriculum were some of the impediments of TVETindustry partnership. Based on the findings it was recommended that the Oromia TVET bureau in collaboration
with other relevant concerned regional authorities and TVET colleges, set new strategies for creating strong
awareness for industries, companies, and other relevant stakeholders on the purpose and advantages of
implementing successful TVET-industry partnership. Finally, the Oromia regional government in collaboration
with the TVET bureau needs to create policy-supported incentive strategies such as giving occasional privileges
of duty-free import, tax reduction, and regional government recognition awards based on the level of partnership
contribution to TVET institutions in promoting TVET-industry partnership.

Data from closed ended questions was analysed using SPSS 23.0, with the aid of descriptive and inferential statistical tools while the opened ended questions were analysed thematically. Findings showed that lecturers' teachers' quality R = 412 , P = 0.000 strongly and significantly affect the quality of training and employability chances of graduates with all P values 0.001, far 0.05. Aside this relationship, a significant proportion of graduates, students and academic staff indicated that not all teachers employed in the University and in their department are qualify to teach. This research aims to create the 8+i link and match model as an embodiment of a healthy learning ecosystem between schools and the worlds of business and industry. The research technique is a mix of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. The qualitative technique develops a basic list of success characteristics using meta-ethnography, whereas the quantitative approach defines the link between the variables under examination by establishing or building many latent variables that explain the relationship between variables using Aiken's formula and SPSS version 26. The study's findings demonstrate the success of the 8+i link and match model between Muhammadiyah 1 Ciputat vocational high school/Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Muhammadiyah 1 Ciputat and industry in generating efficiency and mutual benefits for both parties, not just ordinary collaboration, but intense collaboration from the curriculum development, learning, and industrial work practices designed collaboratively. The Implication of the 8+i link and match model if correctly implemented is that the industry will profit because the training expenses is reduced, and vocational high schools will benefit because their graduates is absorbed by the industry. Recommendations for the vocational high school curriculum must include schools, and industry, also Teaching personnel must include practitioners from industry as well as instructors from schools.

The purpose of this paper was to investigate constraints to the implementation of the competence based approach CBA , and effects on vision 2035, as well as what teachers, principals and chiefs of work proposed as solutions to implementation problems. The major issue in this study was to find out whether the characteristics of the CBA constraints the implementation. The survey design was used The simple random sampling and clustered random sampling techniques were employed to obtain a sample of 10 principals, 19 chiefs of work and 129 teachers giving a total of 158 from a population of 509 government technical teachers, chiefs of work and principals in the five technical colleges that were used as sample in Fako division. Data was collected through the use of questionnaire comprising 46 items all closed ended and 2 open ended. Data from closed ended and open ended items were analyzed using the statistical package for the social sciences SPSS and the technique of content analysis respectively. Findings from the data analysis were presented using frequencies, percentages and means. The findings revealed that the CBA was preferred to other teaching methods in spite of its numerous constraints. As such, Cameroon can achieve vision 2035 if CBA is properly implemented. Some recommendations were made to improve on the practice for example, teachers need to be continuously trained through seminars workshops and regular follow up by principals and pedagogic inspectors to ensure the CBA is properly implemented.
