11. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
1.0 Business Ownership
The proposed business Githunguri Dairy Goat Breeders for best breeds and its venture will be to
specialize in dairy farming and its products. It will be breeding, processing, packing and then selling the
products to both wholesale and retail price. The owner of the business is Mr. Samuel K. Ndoiru. The
proposed business entails to acquire a capital amount of KShs. 3,000,000 to start its activities. The
business will be allocated in Githunguri in Kiambu County in Central Province. Parts of Kenya, the
proposed business will strategizes to make a storming entry into the market by offering quality products
at affordable prices and discounts.
2.0 Marketing Plan
The proposed business will employ personal selling strategies to reach its customers as well as using
advertisement and promotional strategies to penetrate market of its products. The business targets a
population of 2,000 customers within the surrounding. The level of competition in the proposed
business will be able to contain its competitors.
3.0 Organization Plan
The proposed business entails to have a General Manager who will be in charge of business operations
alongside other staff. The number of employees in the proposed business is employee including
management and other employee. The proposed business will develop sound remuneration package to
sustain its employees and ensure that they are well motivated.
4.0 Production Plan
This chapter list of various types’ requirements needed to keep production moving. This chapter also
underlines processing strategies as well as comparing overheads expenses both direct and indirect with
output production.
5.0 Financial Plan
The proposed business needs a total of Kshs. 1,327,500 (Kenya shillings one million three hundred and
twenty seven thousands and five hundred). This chapter will include the profit and losses accounts the
balance sheet and return of investment.
