GIS Data Models
Vector data-Vector data is a representation of the world using points, lines,
and polygons. This data is created by digitizing the base data, and it stores
information in x, y coordinates.
 There Are Two Types
Raster data-Raster data is an image, or a grid of pixels, where each pixel has a unique value that
represents a data point on the ground – in other words, it stores information about features in a cell-
based manner.
