10:30 am: Pastor Paul John leads a special service to celebrate Harvest 
and to support the Link to Hope Shoebox Appeal. 
We will celebrate Harvest at GFEC, next Sunday, 26th October. Our offering that day will be donated to the Sanctuary Care Home. This will also be ‘Shoebox Sunday’. Please bring a packed lunch and stay on to help pack shoeboxes. If you would like to donate items to go into the shoeboxes please bring them along to church (or take them directly to John and Margaret’s house) before the 26th. Please see the leaflets at the back of the church for further details of the Link to Hope Shoebox Appeal. 
Please join us for the FEET Family Barn Dance on Friday 31st October, 7 – 9 pm at Old Mill Hall. ‘Pandemonium’ will provide the music and lead the dancing. There will a ‘Pie and peas’ and ‘Apple Nachos’ supper. The evening will conclude with a short epilogue. Tickets are £1.50 per person or £5.00 for a family ticket and can be obtained from Erika (before 20th October please, for catering purposes). All ages welcome. Casual dress code – denim and/or checks if possible! 
There is a Building Vision Prayer Breakfast on Saturday 25th October, 8:30am at Old Mill Hall. Please come and join with us in praying for the future of GFEC and enjoy a coffee and a croissant (£2.00 donation appreciated). 
There is a GFEC ‘Fellowship Tea’ at Cornerstone, 3-4 pm on Saturday 1st November. Cornerstone will be open exclusively for our use to meet together for fellowship. The usual Cornerstone tea/coffee/cake selection will be available to purchase. Everyone is welcome - please bring your friends. Offers of help (to Katrina please) with drinks, serving, till and pot wash greatly appreciated.
