Final Second Division match for 2015-Sabb Sports Club 3-0 Sunsetters at Tanteen
Third place playoff-TAMCC 3-1 Morne Jaloux at Beausejour
Sabb are the champions of the GFA Second Division and have booked a place in
the Sandals Super 8 Knockout Tournament beginning Saturday 12th
December,
2015 at Victoria Park, Grenville. They will play Queen’s Park Rangers on Sunday
in the first fixture beginning at 6:00pm.
Match Summaries:
2 goals from Sabb SC’s Kerry Regis in the 31st
and 62nd
minutes along with an 80th
minute strike from Kimo George secured the title for the St.Andrew’s club in the
final of the GFA Second division. Their opponents Sunsetters SC (St.Marks) could
not find the net.
This is the first title for the parish in the GFA season and this means Sabb SC will
represent the second division in the Sandals Super 8 Knockout Tournament.
Over at Beausejour in the third place playoff, the College boys TAMCC, overcame
Morne Jaloux in a thrilling match. TAMCC’s Christophe Harris scored early in the
match, finding the net in the 19th
minute. He was then followed by team mate
Rondell Roberts who struck home in the 58th
minute.
However, Morne Jaloux put up a fight when Glen Dickson netted in the 60th
minute. However, Morne Jaloux’s fate was sealed when TAMCC’s Jamie Sandy
found the net two minutes after. Therefore, TAMCC is 3rd
in the GFA Second
division while Morne Jaloux finishes in 4th
place.
