IT Project Manager - Consultant 3/2010 – 7/2013
 Managed to create high availability networks for Epic and Cerner installations in Arkansas,
Kentucky, Iowa, North Dakota and Minnesota hospitals, brought up the network
infrastructure to CHI standards. The multi-year project included:
 Build new, move or reorganize network closets
 Replace not supported network equipment (routers, switches, cabinets) in large numbers
 Run new or reorganized existing copper or fiber network connections between network
closets and floors

Project manager for implementing a bar code scanning and Friends for Life registration systems for

Successfully supported and upgraded: hospital applications, network, servers (Intel, UNIX and

Supported the Revenue Cycle products including McKesson Series 2000 registration and patient
accounting, Gaffey (Electronic Claim Management System) Pathways Contract Management
(PCON), Pathways Material Management (PMM), Pathways Financial Management (PFM) and 3M
coding systems.
Project manager for implementing WOWs (Wireless on Wheels) for nursing stations and ED
registration. Evaluated vendors, purchased and installed 186 WOWs (Ergotron) for nursing
stations and 6 WOWs (Lionville) for EDs in three of the four hospital locations totaling over one

Project manager for creating a sophisticated on-line scheduling system to sing-up for training, set up
