                  Join Your Tech Team Now!

1. You will join with the other teachers, special education teachers,
   professionals and administrators that work with your grade.
2. So – get up from your current tables and join with your grade groups
   now. 9th in the right back, 10th in the left back, 11th in the right front
   and 12th in the left front. You’ll have 3 minutes to take your new
   places.
3. Your first task is to choose your role in your group.
     a. Recorder/Writer            Researcher
     b. Speaker                    Facilitator
     c. Care Taker                 Food and Games Provider
     d.Cheerleader                 Muscle
4. As you were told in your email calling you to this meeting, you
   may not talk, but only communicate through your cell phones
   or laptops, via email, text, chat or discussion boards.
5. Your first task as a group is to watch the video, and then to
   design an “escape vehicle.”
6. Send your care-taker and facilitator up to the front to get
   the supplies issued to your team. You will not get any more
   supplies, but may use natural supplies you find on your island.
7. Once you take your supplies back to your team, your team will
   have 15 minutes to build a way to get back to civilization
   from your island.
8. Your means of escape will be tested on this “water” up here,
   and it should be able to float from one end of this waterway
   to the other.
