Classical music originated in Western traditions from the 11th century to present day. It developed sophisticated instrumental forms like symphonies and sonatas during the common practice period from 1600-1800. While originally using harps, lutes and woodwinds, classical music now occasionally incorporates electric instruments. It is regularly used as background music and some great composers include Edvard Grieg and Antonio Vivaldi. Parents often enroll children in classical training for discipline and education. Classical music is produced in a studio to precisely record all musical elements at the highest quality. Its target audience is generally people over 30 who can afford the sometimes expensive genre.

Twentieth century composers embraced this term to name their musical era because it seemed modern and exciting, and the various styles of music could not be combined under one stylistically descriptive term. Twentieth century music was preceded by several late romantic era developments, including impressionism and neoclassicism. In the twentieth century, there is no specific rule. There adds a term which is called visual art to music.

Genre; Classical
Classical music is art music produced or rooted in the traditions of Western music (both liturgical and
secular). It includes a broad period from roughly the 11th century to the present day. The common
practice period is when many of the ideas that make up western classical music took shape,
consistent, or were organised. It began with the Baroque era, running from roughly 1600 to the
middle of the 18th century. Classical music regularly features as background music for movies,
television programmes, advertisements and events.
In the Early Period many instruments were used such as the harp, lute, vielle and psaltery, some
examples of wind instruments were the flute family (including recorder), shawm (early member of
oboe family), trumpet and the bagpipes. Later during the period, other instruments became popular
such as keyboard instruments like the clavichord and harpsichord. Wind instruments became more
sophisticated in the Classical period.Classical music has developed due to the highly sophisticated
forms of instrumental music which includes the concerto, symphony, sonata, suite and others.
Electric instruments such as the electric guitar and the ondes
Martenot appear occasionally in the classical music of the 20th
and 21st centuries. Both classical and popular musicians have
experimented in recent decades with electronic instruments
such as the synthesizer, electric and digital techniques such as
the use of sampled or computer-generated sounds, and the
sounds of instruments from other cultures such as the
gamelan.
The singer ‘Manna Dey’ made classical music popular in films. Examples of some great classical music
composers are people such as; Edvard Grieg, Antonio Vuvaldi, Richard Wagner, Edward Elgar and
many more.
Throughout history, parents have often made sure that their children receive classical music training
from a young age. Some parents pursue music lessons for their children for social reasons or in an
effort to in still a sense of self-discipline. Some believe that knowledge of important works of
classical music is part of a good general education.
Classical music is produced in a studio recording. The role of the person is to make sure all of the
music is recorded which is really important, make sure that all of the right notes are played,
encouraging the performers to achieve the best possible standards, make sure the engineers capture
a sound that is appropriate for the music.
The target audience for classical music are people aged 30 and above because they are more likely
to be interested in calm, classical music and it would be targeted at higher class people as the
magazine is quite expensive for working class people to be able to buy.
