1. REFLECTION ON THE FIELD STUDY AREA OBSERVED
During the first day of our deployment we came to the office of the ICT head teacher, and
all of the ICT Teachers or should we say our resource teacher was also there to listen and also to
meet their student teacher after that each resource teacher had two student teacher who’s going
to attend and observe each of their classes. On the first week we just observe 1 day because our
teacher told us that the exam of her students is near so they just meet for a short time and its more
on review so we cannot really observed the exact discussion of the lesson so that’s why we just
walk around the campus of Maria Clara Lorenzo Lobregat National High School check their school
buildings, laboratories and facilities that the school have. When their new lesson starts after the
exam we also conduct our observation and if we have a free time we help our resource teacher to
check the papers of her students and also we record their scores and make MPS until we finish all
of task that are critic teacher assigned to us also after were done our duties.
Based on what we experience during our deployment and all the observation and assistance
that we do I can say being a teacher is not easy , specially when you are handle a multiple and
diverse student inside of the classroom you need to the characteristic of effective educator like
you need to have long patient and discipline when you handle the class, you must also attach the
life your student so that you can make them more motivated to learn new things in class. Always
look for a new strategic plan on how you are going to introduce a new lesson to your student to
get their interest in learning new things in school.
And those are the things we did even if it is a tiring activity but we enjoyed a lot it is
because we were be able to gain a lot of knowledge, learning. ideas and information which could
help us to be a better human engineer someday with our own students.
We are very thankful to our almighty God because he gave us wisdom and grace to be
used in our daily lives as we face our own different pages of journey and challenges as human..
