- -What can we as a community do for you? -This question is what keeps me up at night. -As we engage you’ll come to understand why this question is important.
- -We believe fostering relationships are a key component for a thriving startup community. -By fostering relationships, we can begin to remove barriers in the entrepreneurs journey. -This is one step in our efforts to move towards #zerobarriers for entrepreneurs. -So how exactly do we accomplish that?
- -Startup Competeis is designed to simplify the logistics chaos that comes with managing a compeittion. -At the most basic level, we help anyone launch a startup competition online.
- -You get access to create questions and accept applications online. You also have a portal that makes it easy for judges to review applications and score them. -We have come to see their finalists and winners are looking for something else beyond the competition. -What we have come to find is that what they need most at that point are mentors. -So how does this happen?
- -Well, we are mindful of not wasting their time. -Through a strategic onboarding process, we identify which mentors they may need at that stage of their journey. -We also provide them VIP access into GEN’s programs, and place them on a global stage like the GEC. -In fact, we have a few with us today. GEN Starters, please rise.
- -These are some the exceptional founders with us this week. Look at their faces and find some time to engage them. -They all have unique ideas and challenges, so ask them how we as a community can help out (see what I did there?).
