Geaux Veterans is a nonprofit organization that aims to create career pathways for veterans in Louisiana through mentoring, leadership development, and job placement programs. Its mission is to invest in the veteran workforce while serving those who have served the nation. The key programs are Geaux Mentoring, which connects veterans and employers; Geaux Leaders Institute, which develops Louisiana leaders using military leadership principles; and Geaux Work, which provides career services and connects veterans to internal and external job opportunities. Geaux Veterans plans to be financially sustainable through various funding sources including foundations, corporate sponsors, and revenue from specialized training programs and services. Its goal is to employ veterans internally at a rate of 75% or higher.

Through partnerships with establish trade apprenticeships, technical schools, higher education and industry, Veterans Administration, Military and Service components … the only truecompetition is fear of the unknown. “What is the definition of courage?
