2. The Global Digital Surveillance Forum (GDSF) has emerged as the primary conference for knowledge
sharing and shaping business strategy for the Electronic Security and Surveillance Systems industry
across Asia, with several editions of the conference held over the past 10 years in Taiwan, China, India,
Japan, Thailand and Vietnam. The two editions of GDSF India 2013 Conference held at Mumbai and
Bengaluru have received enthusiastic response from the industry in terms of active participation of various
stakeholders in the Electronic Security / Surveillance market – OEM’s, System Integrators, Distributors /
Channel partners, Security Consultants and Large Scale Security End Users (Government / Public sector as
well as CSO’s, Heads of Security from the Private / Corporate sector). The forums featured presentations,
application-based case studies, panel discussions and exchange of insights on the way forward for Indian
Electronic Security / Surveillance industry and for better security of assets, infrastructure, facilities and
human life through efficient utilisation of technology. The upcoming edition of GDSF India is a National
level Conference scheduled at New Delhi on 4 – 5 December, 2013.

The Indian industry is not yet mature with very few players. However,
the industry will grow and forums like GDSF will help bring together the
decision makers, users, manufacturers to one platform. The technical front

3. GDSF Mumbai, held on 1 – 2 March, 2013 at MMRDA Exhibition Center, Bandra-Kurla
