Russian anarchist and anti-war movement in the third year of full-scale warAntti Rautiainen
Anarchist group ANA Regensburg hosted my online-presentation on 16th of May 2024, in which I discussed tactics of anti-war activism in Russia, and reasons why the anti-war movement has not been able to make an impact to change the course of events yet. Cases of anarchists repressed for anti-war activities are presented, as well as strategies of support for political prisoners, and modest successes in supporting their struggles.

1. GANDHI - PIONEER OF ACTIVE
NONVIOLENT RESISTANCE
By Niranjan Shah
2. INTRODUCTION
An engineering executive in Chicago, Illinois,
Niranjan Shah has dedicated more than four decades
to Globetrotters Engineering Corporation. In his spare
time, Niranjan Shah enjoys reading works by
Mahatma Gandhi.
An antiwar activist, Mahatma Gandhi pioneered
nonviolent civil disobedience and played a pivotal role
in establishing India’s independence from British rule.
He was also an author, who published numerous
titles, including The Story of My Experiments with
Truth, before his death in 1948.
3. GANDHI
The Story of My Experiments with Truth is an
autobiographical book, first released in 1993 by
Beacon Press. The 560-page publication gives
an account of the author’s life and his struggles
during the 20th century. In particular, Gandhi
describes how the concept of active nonviolent
resistance came to fruition. Ensuring the
continuation of influential published works such
as The Story of My Experiments with Truth,
Gandhi stipulated that all royalties from the
book’s sales be applied to the Navajivan Trust, a
publishing house with more than 800 titles.
