Green iguanas are large lizards found in rainforests from Mexico to Brazil. They can grow up to 6 feet long including their tail and weigh up to 8 pounds. They have thick scaly skin, claws, and spikes on their back. Iguanas are omnivores that eat plants, insects, and small animals. They live in trees and spend most of their time in the rainforest canopy where they are well camouflaged.
