The goal is to design a wheelchair that can be easily loaded into a car independently, allowing disabled people to transport themselves without assistance. The project aims to improve the quality of life of disabled people and increase awareness of their needs. If successful, the customized wheelchair transport solution could help disabled individuals gain independent mobility. The proposal involves researching the transportation needs of the disabled, collaborating with stakeholders, and developing a marketable product over the course of a 6 month project.

Multilinear Kernel Mapping for Feature Dimension Reduction in Content Based M...ijma
In the process of content-based multimedia retrieval, multimedia information is processed in order to
obtain descriptive features. Descriptive representation of features, results in a huge feature count, which
results in processing overhead. To reduce this descriptive feature overhead, various approaches have been
used to dimensional reduction, among which PCA and LDA are the most used methods. However, these
methods do not reflect the significance of feature content in terms of inter-relation among all dataset
features. To achieve a dimension reduction based on histogram transformation, features with low
significance can be eliminated. In this paper, we propose a feature dimensional reduction approaches to
achieve the dimension reduction approach based on a multi-linear kernel (MLK) modeling. A benchmark
dataset for the experimental work is taken and the proposed work is observed to be improved in analysis in
comparison to the conventional system.
The document provides information about the anatomy and development of the orbit and eye. It discusses:
- The development of the eye from the optic vesicle, lens placode, and other tissues.
- The anatomy of the orbit, including the bones that form it and openings like the optic canal.
- The anatomy of the eyeball and its layers like the sclera, choroid, retina. It also discusses the chambers of the eye.
- Other structures like the extraocular muscles, blood and nerve supply, and clinical terms like glaucoma and cataracts.
The document discusses diseases of the orbit, including:
1. It describes the anatomy of the orbital cavity including its dimensions, walls, openings, spaces, and relations to other structures.
2. It discusses different types of proptosis including the causes, signs, and treatments. Causes can include infections, tumors, or endocrine disorders like Graves' disease.
3. Graves' disease is described as the most common cause of exophthalmos. It involves protrusion of the eye along with signs of hyperthyroidism. Surgical orbital decompression may be needed for severe cases.
The document summarizes research on black hole and grey hole attacks in wireless mesh networks. It provides background on these attacks and how they work. The key points are:
1. Black hole attacks involve a malicious node accepting all packets by sending fake route replies, appearing to have the shortest path, then dropping all packets. Grey hole attacks involve selectively dropping packets.
2. The document reviews previous research on detecting and preventing these attacks. It then discusses using the OPNET simulator to analyze delay in networks under black hole and grey hole attacks.
3. Simulation results show increased network delay when nodes launch black hole and grey hole attacks compared to no attacks. Applying the OLSR routing protocol with a secure path scheme
Leader follower formation control of ground vehicles using camshift based gui...ijma
Autonomous ground vehicles have been designed for the purpose of that relies on ranging and bearing
information received from forward looking camera on the Formation control . A visual guidance control
algorithm is designed where real time image processing is used to provide feedback signals. The vision
subsystem and control subsystem work in parallel to accomplish formation control. A proportional
navigation and line of sight guidance laws are used to estimate the range and bearing information from the
leader vehicle using the vision subsystem. The algorithms for vision detection and localization used here
are similar to approaches for many computer vision tasks such as face tracking and detection that are
based color-and texture based features, and non-parametric Continuously Adaptive Mean-shift algorithms
to keep track of the leader. This is being proposed for the first time in the leader follower framework. The
algorithms are simple but effective for real time and provide an alternate approach to traditional based
approaches like the Viola Jones algorithm. Further to stabilize the follower to the leader trajectory, the
sliding mode controller is used to dynamically track the leader. The performance of the results is
demonstrated in simulation and in practical experiments.
Error resilient for multiview video transmissions with gop analysisijma
The work in this paper examines the effects of group of pictures on H.264 multiview video coding bitstream
over an erroneous network with different error rates. The study considers analyzing the bitrate
performance for different GOP and error rates to see the effects on the quality of the reconstructed
multiview video. However, by analyzing the multiview video content it is possible to identify an optimum
GOP size depending on the type of application used. In a comparison test, the H.264 data partitioning and
the multi-layer data partitioning technique with different error rates and GOP are evaluated in terms of
quality perception. The results of the simulation confirm that Multi-layer data partitioning technique shows
a better performance at higher error rates with different GOP. Further experiments in this work have
shown the effects of GOP in terms of visual quality and bitrate for different multiview video sequences.

This paper presents an improved edge detection algorithm for facial and remotely sensed images using
vector order statistics. The developed algorithm processes coloured images directly without been converted
to grey scale. A number of the existing algorithms converts the coloured images into grey scale before
detection of edges. But this process leads to inaccurate precision of recognized edges, thus producing false
and broken edges in the output edge map. Facial and remotely sensed images consist of curved edge lines
which have to be detected continuously to prevent broken edges. In order to deal with this, a collection of
pixel approach is introduced with a view to minimizing the false and broken edges that exists in the
generated output edge map of facial and remotely sensed images.
A MODEL TO CONVERT WAVE–FORM-TEXT TO LINEAR-FORM-TEXT FOR BETTER READABILITY ...ijma
The document presents a model to transform wave-form text to linear-form text for better readability by optical character recognition systems (OCRs). The model has three stages: 1) it extracts each character from the wave-form text, 2) performs tilt correction on the characters, and 3) performs character alignment correction. It was tested on 200 wave-form text samples and achieved an average readability of 98% by the OCR, compared to much lower readability rates for the original wave-form text. The model effectively transforms wave-form text into a linear format suitable for OCR systems with minimal tilt and alignment issues in the transformed characters.
