- #9 Hi, my name is Sheldon. Senior Technical consultant with A2K Technologies. I’ll be showing you the functionality around Cloud based data management. We’ll be addressing the following Key points: Accessibility – How the end user would be expected to access the applications on the cloud. We’ll explore application workflows within the cloud environment while Demonstrating the performance and mobility of cloud based workflows.
- #10 Firstly, End users can access the cloud environment via a simple ‘secure’ landing page similar to a web browser. As seen here, user login details are required to access the secure online host server, meaning access to the service can be controlled or restricted as needed. As an online resource, the cloud environment can by accessed by any device from anywhere with an internet connection.
- #11 Once connected to the cloud environment, End Users are able to launch various applications as services on their local machine. Secure access login, controls access to cloud environment and software accessibility. Applications are hosted by the cloud server not the local machine. This means the software can be accessed without the need for high end CAD machines, as application resources are handled by the host server.
