The document describes a multimedia system for entertainment on board vehicles like coaches and trains. The system allows up to 72 passengers to independently select and view movies, music, pictures, GPS navigation and more from a central server storage of 32-256GB. It can connect up to 16 external audio/video sources. Passengers use 7" or 10.2" touchscreen monitors to select content. The system is designed for aftermarket or original equipment installation and provides advertisement playback capability.

10. ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR PASSENGERS
Operator can any time interrupt multimedia
content watching by passengers for enabling:
audio announcement – in the case of emergency
situation or other need of engine-driver or attendant
they can activate Audio to deliver voice message to all
passengers
video announcement –attendant can show video
sequence to all passengers – on all monitors will be
shown the same video (switched OFF monitors turn
automatically to ON during video announcement)
when audio or video announcement are finished all
monitors return back to the state before switching ON
audio / video announcement

• Driver console – the console allowing driver/guide to control played content
on all monitors
• In the case it is needed to play particular content (advertisement, guidance
instructions, safety instructions, etc.)
• This particular content is stored on the SD card and can be played in the
system (specific procedure to create the SD card image)
• Passengers don´t have the access to general content on SSD disc
