This document discusses obtaining a public performance license from MPLC to screen copyrighted movies on coaches and trains. MPLC has rights from major film studios including 20th Century Fox, Universal, Paramount, DreamWorks, and Disney. The procedure involves selecting available titles, placing an order, and receiving copies within a month. Annual licensing fees range from $10-30 per screen depending on the year. Individual title fees are €50 for standard and €100 for rare titles. A service fee of €75 applies per media drive. Licenses prohibit advertising performances, limit screens to listed vehicles, and forbid commercials or edits to received files. A certificate will be issued directly to the licensee.

provide ‘public performance’ licenses for non-theatrical, non commercial screenings from: 20th Century
Fox, Universal Pictures, Paramount Pictures, DreamWorks, Walt Disney Pictures

3. Procedure
Select titles from lists of legally available home entertainment DVDs in your local territory from specific
Studio (20th Century Fox, Universal Pictures, Paramount Pictures, DreamWorks, Walt Disney Pictures)
Place an order to MOLPIR. You will get back confirmation of requested titles availability with respective
language version.
For available titles you will get legal copy within approx one month
Costs
Annual licence fee per screen - 10US$ in 2012, 15 US$ in 2013, 20 US$ in 2014 and all next 30 US$
Cost per ordered title is 50 € for „standard“ and 100 € for „rare“ titles for unlimited screenings per year.
For titles requested where „new“ language should be implemented the cost can be up to 500 €.
In the case the operator has fleet of more vehicles equiped with the same media content then he pays
each title fee only once for all his vehicles
Service fee is flat rate 75 € for each processed SSD drive according to customer request
Limitations
Licensees cannot advertise performances to the general public
Performances are limited to the vehicle listed on the licence certificate only
No fees can be collected to watch the motion picture
No commercial breaks can be inserted into the movie
Copyright laws apply – no further reproduction or edit of received media files
No product endorsement is allowed - in relation to the film content and the licensee business or brand
name

4. Certificate
A separate ‘public performance’ license certificate will be issued and sent directly to the
licensee by MPLC in the form of „window sticker“
