Fundata is a village in Romania that has been declared a tourist village. It is located at an altitude of 1,304 meters, making it the highest settlement in the country. The village is situated between the Bucegi and Piatra Craiului Mountains. 3. Fundata is one of the 13 villages in Romania
that have declared the status of a village of
tourist interest or tourist village. At an altitude
of 1,304 meters, Fundata is the highest
settlement in the country. You will find this
tour halfway between Bran and Rucar,
embraced by the Bucegi Mountains and the
Piatra Craiului Mountains. In this area you can
visit Sirnea Village, Vidraru Lake,
Dambovicioara Cave and Gorges, Monument
of the First World War Heroes.

4. In the vicinity of Fundata you can visit many
natural attractions: Piatra Craiului National Park -
Piatra Craiului Paths, Zarnesti Hills, Moieciu
Gorge, Grădiştei Gorges, Natural Reserves La
Chişătoare, Dâmbovicioara Gorge and Cheile
Cave, Pestera Bats Cave, Şirnea Village,
Pecineagu Dam, Vidraru Lake.
