The STEM Integrated Marketing and Communications Plan (IMC Plan) describes a new, holistic approach to the institute’s external marketing and communication strategy. The plan serves as a guide to help reshape brand perception, enhance awareness, and increase applications and enrolment. Secondarily, the implementation of this plan will help build internal culture and pride by fostering engagement among all members of the STEM community: students, parents, administration and faculty, trustees and local and international partners.
In keeping with the strategic goals of STEM’s strategic plan and support of the Apajee’s workforce initiatives developed in collaboration with MS, it is essential that the institute builds on its collaborative marketing efforts to encourage more students to get the training necessary to succeed in today’s world.
Final report “Transition from VET TO WORK in Latvia” (available above) reflects a short summary of each issue raised during the discussions, proposals and recommendations, and illustrates a number of good practices which also arouse inspiration for further cooperation and development.

Developing a Graduate Attribute Framework in Higher Education - Focus Group R...Embedding Employability
Graduate Attributes are the core abilities and values a higher education institute community agrees all its graduates should develop. They are the abilities employers deem necessary for today’s knowledge workers and graduate success (HEA UK, 2013). The National Framework for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education identifies ‘Student Success’ as:
‘Student success optimises the learning and development opportunities for each student to recognise and fulfil their potential to contribute to, and flourish in, society.
To be achieved, this requires a culture in Irish higher education that values inclusivity, equity and meaningful engagement between students, staff, their institutions, and the wider community…’ (Farrell & McEvoy, 2019)
The Graduate Attribute agenda is key to fulfilling this promise to its students by Dundalk Institute of Technology, and this report outlines the results of our research with the goal of establishing our own graduate attribute framework. First, we review the development of the policy context driving graduate attribute development nationwide, and then turn to a discussion of relevant graduate attribute theories to ground our research. Finally, we present the main results.
The Research & Development training programme will increase R&D skills within your business, giving you the information, knowledge and improved practices your business needs to succeed. This high quality training programme is an essential, flexible and rewarding experience.
Studies have shown that companies that invest in Research & Development (R&D) grow and prosper regardless of how competitive their markets may be.

THE APPRENTICESHIP LEVY: A Guide for Employers & SME'sThe Pathway Group
With the apprenticeship levy being introduced in April 2017, it is somewhat concerning that many employers still do not understand the impact it is going to have on them, and their businesses.
We have put together a booklet outlining all the essential 'need-to-knows', to help employers and training providers prepare for the upcoming changes. As well as information about apprenticeships in general, an FAQ section (answering common questions), and a handy glossary.
I was delighted to be asked by the Westminster Higher Education Forum policy conference to speak about Entrepreneurship on campus and to provide case studies showing how Founders4Schools and Workfinder use AI and ML to embed enterprise in the curriculum, supporting the learning and development of educators, student start-ups, and increasing diversity.

The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.
