Biopharmaceutical Attribute Monitoring with the Waters ACQUITY QDa Mass DetectorWaters Corporation
Bringing greater sensitivity, selectivity, and productivity to routine analysis of biotherapeutics, whether you're in characterization or in downstream production of biologics.
From WCBP 2015: GlycoWorks RapiFluor-MS for Glycan ProfilingWaters Corporation
In this vendor presentation given at WCBP, we introduce a new glycan fluorescent label, RapiFluor-MS, which is used to label N-linked glycans. This innovative label improves FLR and mass spectrometry signals for glycan characterization and profiling analysis. Plus - our GlycoWorks RapiFluor-MS N-Glycan Kit now allows you to finish glycan deglycosylation, labeling and cleanup in 3 steps and just 30 minutes.

This presentation provides information regarding the U.S. EPA's Tier III ruling which reduces the allowed sulfur concentrations in gasoline from an average of 30 mg/kg to 10 mg/kg in Ultra Low Sulfur Gasoline (ULSG).
“Light is better.” Not only long-distance runners swear by this formula for success. This brief formula for success has been defining activities in the mobility sector for some time as well. After all, “light is better” also applies to cars and airplanes.
Lightweight construction is an important trend for the future – and especially in the automobile industry, a crucial aspect of sweeping change which is currently faced by this sector. Not to mention that the weight of new vehicles has increased ever more quickly over the past decades due to greater vehicle comfort and higher safety standards as well as better and better equipment. New drive system concepts such as electromobility are going to further aggravate this trend – for example due to heavy on-board batteries.
When budget cuts bite deep, you could be forgiven for moving environmental sustainability off the top of the agenda.
But there is a way to reduce costs *and* meet your environmental commitments. Today's green vehicles not only use less CO2, they can also cost less and improve efficiency.

Practical Implementation Of Renewable Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Installations in t...guest083950
Paper presented at the conference Detail Design in Architecture 8 at University of Wales Institute Cardiff, on the 4th September 2009.
Authors: Gavin D. J. Harper & Ross Gazey
Final thesis: Technological maturity of future energy systemsNina Kallio
For my Master thesis I built a methodology to assess system maturities in energy sector. The aim was to build a framework, process and tools with the scope of assessing emerging systems and their current technological maturity in an uniform and quantitative way.
Rockwell Automation Air Pollution Control Solutionsmkburgoon
Rockwell Automation has a rich heritage in Power Generation application with a large installed base of equipment. Rockwell Automation offers broad portfolio from devices to control architecture and integrated solutions that help ensure safe, reliable and available power production
First presented at Certas Energy's Clean Air breakfast event on 22nd May 2017, this presentation introduces a new entrant into the clean air debate - paraffinic fuels.
With improved combustion properties, these cleaner alternatives can be used in standard diesel and gas oil engines while reducing greenhouse gas emissions by up to 90%. With no investment in infrastructure, machinery or vehicles required, they could play a vital role in cleaning up Britain's industry.
Certas Energy is the first to introduce and pioneer Shell GTL Fuel (Gas-To-Liquid) in the UK, with the aim of improving air quality.

Marco Buoni suggested that ”each of the 28 EU Member States, with the help of their contractor’s association – of which almost all are represented within AREA – should firmly propose the extension of the certification of refrigeration technicians in fluorinated refrigerants, including specific modules on the use of alternative refrigerants. AREA has already prepared a scheme to propose to all the member states to guide them to a quick implementation”
