Dear Professor Dumbledore:

We are extremely pleased that the Faculty Technology Center accepted our proposal to
replace Blackboard with Facebook for the next two semesters. Integrating modern social
media in the classroom will greatly benefit students and instructors. Per your request, we
have composed a set of instructions (via PowerPoint) for UAA faculty to facilitate this
integration.

Our instruction set consists of: title slide, table of contents, objective statement, step-by-
step instructions, vocabulary list, illustrations, references, and appendices. We primarily
focus on the ability to share files and create groups within the program because those
were the highest-ranking features according to respondents in our UAA Social Media
Student Questionnaire. The incorporated tools will demonstrate how teachers can
generate concepts to enlighten students through an easily accessible online learning
management system. Additionally, the instruction set will explain how to manage
instructor-created groups where their classroom can interact via Facebook.

The PowerPoint presentation should be reviewed by the Faculty Technology Center
before the program's launch, to provide sufficient time for any necessary revisions you
might recommend. We believe the instruction set would be most effective if distributed to
teachers after attending the workshop classes recommended in our proposal, providing
reference to ensure the most seamless transition possible.

Respectfully,

Brightonn Golez Zach Byrd
