- We’ve done great things putting climate on the agenda, and with our bees campaign we’re helping reconnect people with nature. MIB is about connecting people with stuff – thinking the back-stories of everyday products and where they come from, what and who they bump up against along the way.
- This is the big picture story. We’re consuming too much stuff. Good news is we’re getting more efficient (grey ‘intensity’ line) but that’s offset by population and by how consumption of stuff is linked to our economic growth, and the linear extract-consume-dump model of consumption. We need a step-change. We need systemic change.
