This document provides a 7-step tutorial for inserting a video into a blog post from YouTube. The steps are: 1) click the video button and select uploading from YouTube, 2) search for and select the desired video, 3) the video will be inserted, 4) preview the post to see the small default video size, 5) edit the HTML to increase the width and height, 6) preview to see the larger sized video, 7) publish the post. The tutorial aims to teach readers how to make their blog posts more attractive by resizing inserted YouTube videos.

1. LESSON 5: HOW TO INSERT VIDEO TO BLOG
1. Go to New post, look for video button, click and you will see options to upload videos. You can insert
videos from your computer, from youtube or from your own youtube account. For this lesson, let us
choose inserting video from youtube. See the picture above. You are given the option to type word or
words of the video you want to insert to your post.
2. Let’s type I love you by Celine Dion. You see that many videos are shown relating to the search
words you type. Now choose the video you wanted and click Select below. See the picture.

3. After you clicked select this is what you get, your video is now inserted in the post. Click
now, print preview to see how it appears for your viewers. Do not cancel this, we will be
back to do some editing. For now let us preview
4. This is the preview of our video we just inserted inserted. Look carefully , the video is small in
size. Now how do we make it bigger so that our post look more attractive ? Go back to our video
where we inserted it and click EDIT HTML

5. When you click EDIT HTML, you get above codes, now we are going to change the measurements for
width and height from 320 and 266 respectively above to 500 by 400 respectively as you can see in the
picture below
6.Now you see our HTML code is changed. Please don’t change anything further at this stage. I assume
you are a learner so just change the values of width and height. Now we have changed to width 500 by
height 400 , click PREVIEW to see the change of the look of our youtube video we just inserted.

7. You can see now, our video has a large size. Now we are ready to publish the video, go
back to the new post page where you inserted the video, and click PUBLISH
