2. There once was a bunny named Frederick. Frederick was a curious
little bunny, who dreamt of doing great things.
3. In an attempt to live an adventurous life, Frederick bade farewell to
his adoptive parents, Mr. Duck and Mrs. Sheep in order to follow his dream.
His parents wept, and were very unhappy with Frederick’s decision.
Why must you leave us,
darling Frederick!?
4. Even though Frederick knew that his parents would be
upset, he embarked upon his journey. Before leaving, he made sure
that his dear parents knew that they had taught him well enough
to face the world all on his own. Frederick had already graduated
from high school, so he had every right to leave. However, his
parents were still not happy with him.
5. Frederick took on many different jobs as he
tried to support himself. He traveled to new places in
order to get work, and was very happy with his
situation. He still sent postcards to his dear parents
from each one of his destinations, and occasionally
asked for financial support.
6. Eventually,
Frederick went back home.
Although he was very
happy to have traveled the
world like he had always
dreamt of doing, little
Frederick missed his
parents. Mr. Duck and Mrs.
Sheep forgave their child
for leaving them, and took
Frederick back. They all
lived happily ever after.
