Parameters for your decision include franchise fees, capital requirements, training, and trends. Additional research is needed to choose based on your investment priorities such as fees, requirements, and training.

1. Franchise
Analysis
You have looked at two different franchises. In the following couple paragraphs, you are going to decide
which one you would want to invest in. Assume that you have enough money/capital to invest in either
franchise you researched.
Paragraph 1: Introduction
Give a brief summary of the two franchises you researched. What industry are they in? What are they
known for? Compare and contrast the two franchises in with respect to what the customer sees.
Paragraph 2: Set Parameters
How will you make your decision about which franchise to invest in? It should NOT be “because I like
their fries better”. What do you value in a franchise? What combination of a franchising fees, capital
requirements, and training makes sense to you? How does the other researched information factor in to
your decision? What current event trends are you looking for? What is important to you when investing
in a franchise?
Paragraph 3: Make a decision
Based on the Parameters you set- which one will you choose? Use the research you already have to
compliment your decision but additional research is needed. Compare and contrast both franchises
based on your parameters and come up with a decision about which one you would invest in.
