Fire Plast Italia was founded in 1970 by Pier Luigi Merlo and focuses on injection moulding and mould manufacturing. In the early 1990s, Merlo's children Mauro and Nadia joined the company as Managing Director and Administration Director respectively under the new name Fire Plast Italia. Fire Plast has since become a leader in moulding for the automotive industry with facilities in Santena and Canelli, Italy. The company provides design, manufacturing, and production services for plastic injection moulding.

3. 40 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE …
In 1970, the young enterpreneur Pier Luigi Merlo founds Meca Stamp.
Merlo is only 30 years old and he already has matured excellent know – how in injection moulds and
focus to achieve excellence of service at industrial level. the Automotive field,
In the early Nineties, the two sons of Mr. Merlo, Mauro and Nadia, join the company, respectively as
Managing Director and Administration Director. The newly founded company is called Fire Plast Italia
and immediately consilidates trustworthy supplier relationships with the largest european car makers
In the year 2000,Fire Plast takes partecipates in the ZHONQA (Brilliance) turnkey project, one of the
first chinese cars to be developed with EU technology and tools and surely is considered as one of the
main achievements of the company
In the following years Fireplast remains focused on the manufacturing of very large tools and develops
a proprietary know how and technology for injection- compression moulding
In 2007 Fireplast opens a new plant in Canelli dedicated to injection moulding extending customer
service to in house production of small and large series.
