This document discusses a study that assessed whether a social media presence by police influences people's perceptions of law enforcement. The study examined Monmouth University students' views on police in America across dimensions of law enforcement, service, and order maintenance. It also looked at social media use, previous interactions with police, age, gender, major, and socioeconomic status. Surveys were administered to 101 students and analyzed using ANOVA and Chi-Square tests.
