1. FOURTH SUNDAY OF LENT (26 -3-2017)
NOTICES FOR THE WEEK
1. During the season of lent Stations of the Cross is being held on Fridays at 6.15 pm in Konkani and Saturday
6.15 in English.
2. Last Sunday Bible quest results have been sent online on parish WhatsApp group. Winners collect your cash
prizes before today/tomorrow evening from the parish office. The half term rotating trophy and half yearly
toppers prizes and certificates will be given during today/tomorrow 8.15 mass.
3. As a part of our parish Lenten programme, coming Wednesday, March 29th Fr Alban and team will be
conducting a 2 hour Lenten service from 7 to 9 in the evening. This Lenten service will consists of singing,
music, reflections etc. You are invited to come in large numbers. If you are a working parishioner, you may join
late as this service will go on till 9 pm.
4. Hi children you can make the coming summer vacation exciting and learning experience by participating in the
online ECO QUIZ contests. All children from 3rd to 11th std from any school can participate in this online eco
contest. There will be cash prizes and certificates. Interested children give your WhatsApp number to Fr Felix.
5. There is a 2 day Konkani residential retreat organised by Atma Darshan retreat centre, Mhakali Road on
coming Saturday and Sunday, 1st and 2nd April. For registration details see the banner in the church compound.
6. St Joseph technical school, Dadar offers a month long technical trade training especially for those who have
appeared for the SSC/HSC exams. For further details refer to the notice board.
7. A quest programme for Confirmation students and youth groups, and those who discerning the vocation for
priesthood or religious life will be held on coming Saturday, 1st April from 3.30 pm at Goregaon seminary
followed by Ordination ceremony. Interested Confirmation students and youth, please enlist your names with Fr
Henry.
8. Sisters of Nirmala Niketan are organising a Lenten recollection for the working women on coming Sunday, 2nd
April at Premankur, Goregaon seminary complex. For further details see the poster on the notice board.
9. Diocesan Bible Committee is conducting a 15 day Bible course at Our Lady’s Home Training Centre, Dadar.

10. There will a gathering of those who have appeared for the HSC/Std-XII board exam on 29th March at 11.am in
the A.V.Hall. Kindly register your name in the parish office.
11. There will be a brief meeting of the Extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion next Sunday after the 9.30 am
mass in the activity room.
12. PPC meeting will be held on 2nd April after the 9.30 am mass.

14. The Legionaries of St Thomas church, Goregaon – East are organising their 37th annual walking pilgrimage on
coming Saturday, 1st April. For further details refer to the notice board.
15. Those who have broughtyour donation envelopes for the Helpers ofMary project appealed during last Sunday
may drop in the box kept in the parish office.
16. (9.30 am mass) Today’s liturgy is animated by SCC 13. Coming Sunday turn for liturgy will be SCC 14.
17. The last Sunday collections amounted to Rs.15146/- Thank you for your generosity.
18. (8.15 mass) Now we will have prize/certificate distribution for the bible questcontestheld during this academic
year. As already informed in the parish WhatsApp group, to save time, only PPC member or one of the
animator will come and collect your certificate/cash prizes and trophy. PPC members, please handover the
prize money and certificates to your individual participants…… The following are THREE BQ TOPPERS of the
second term will get FIRST PLACE certificates and a token cash prize of Rs 300/- (They have received the
cash prizes for most of the months). - SCC 6 –Our Lady of Lourdes – collect also your trophy, St Pius SCC 4;
