In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. Fourth sunday of lent
1. FOURTH SUNDAY OF LENT (26 -3-2017)
NOTICES FOR THE WEEK
1. During the season of lent Stations of the Cross is being held on Fridays at 6.15 pm in Konkani and Saturday
6.15 in English.
2. Last Sunday Bible quest results have been sent online on parish WhatsApp group. Winners collect your cash
prizes before today/tomorrow evening from the parish office. The half term rotating trophy and half yearly
toppers prizes and certificates will be given during today/tomorrow 8.15 mass.
3. As a part of our parish Lenten programme, coming Wednesday, March 29th Fr Alban and team will be
conducting a 2 hour Lenten service from 7 to 9 in the evening. This Lenten service will consists of singing,
music, reflections etc. You are invited to come in large numbers. If you are a working parishioner, you may join
late as this service will go on till 9 pm.
4. Hi children you can make the coming summer vacation exciting and learning experience by participating in the
online ECO QUIZ contests. All children from 3rd to 11th std from any school can participate in this online eco
contest. There will be cash prizes and certificates. Interested children give your WhatsApp number to Fr Felix.
5. There is a 2 day Konkani residential retreat organised by Atma Darshan retreat centre, Mhakali Road on
coming Saturday and Sunday, 1st and 2nd April. For registration details see the banner in the church compound.
6. St Joseph technical school, Dadar offers a month long technical trade training especially for those who have
appeared for the SSC/HSC exams. For further details refer to the notice board.
7. A quest programme for Confirmation students and youth groups, and those who discerning the vocation for
priesthood or religious life will be held on coming Saturday, 1st April from 3.30 pm at Goregaon seminary
followed by Ordination ceremony. Interested Confirmation students and youth, please enlist your names with Fr
Henry.
8. Sisters of Nirmala Niketan are organising a Lenten recollection for the working women on coming Sunday, 2nd

9. Diocesan Bible Committee is conducting a 15 day Bible course at Our Lady’s Home Training Centre, Dadar.
