3. GENERAL FEATURES
❑ Open development platform that allows users to develop their own software as well as logic
❑ Based on Microsemi SOC on main board: 1152-pin MPFS250TS SOC (4 –Core RV64GC & 1-core RV64IMAC @667MHz max.)
❑ Backplane-less design gives maximum flexibility, simplicity and expansion
❑ Green: low power (<200W)
❑ POE (802.3bt) and/or AC/DC adapter powering options
❑ Live m.2 module replacement on main board
❑ 20 x m.2 connectors (2280/22110) can host either for SSD (40-80Tbyte max.), FPGA/ASIC Computing Modules (CoMo) and/or WLAN/4G/5G modules
❑ Power Loss Protection (PLP) for SSD memories by on-board supercaps with up to 4 seconds and Dying Gasp alert
❑ 6U 19-inch rack compatibility and standalone usage
❑ Security: Secure boot, RoT (Root of Trust), controlled power up & down, MACsec and IEEE 1588v2 (optional) on 10G copper ports
❑ 2 x 1/10Gbps copper, 2 x 1/10Gbps SFP/SFP+ fiber interfaces
❑ 12.8Gbps serialized cache coherent Tilelink bandwidth either for daisy chain or p-t-p topology between FOSOH-V™ cards
❑ 1.6Gbps serialized cache coherent Tilelink bandwidth between each CoMo and on-board SOC
❑ Up to 64Gbps PCIe 3.0 x4 end-point network bandwidth as end-point for external connection thru Oculink connector
❑ Neat look as commercial 19-inch rack modules. No cable mess.
❑ Full programming and debug: 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet, UART, JTAG, I2C, SPI,USB
❑ 16Gb DDR4 for SOC switch fabric, 8Gb LVDDR4 for MSS of SOC, 1Gb NOR Flash for MSS
❑ Intelligent power management: Current measurement, power consumption calculation, alarms
❑ Status indicator LEDs on front panel
❑ SMA connectors on back panel for PCIe WLAN/4G/5G modules and AC/DC adapter power input
❑ HDMI 2.0 interface, RTC, SD connector, fan management, DIP switches etc.
❑ 6U height. Approx. 50 cm length. Width = TBD
