The synopsis is about a young couple whose anniversary is interrupted by loud noise from the adjacent room. The man becomes increasingly agitated and violent as his attempts to lower the volume fail. He searches angrily for something to stop the noise, then breaks down the daughter's door and beats her while the wife tries to intervene. The style uses natural lighting, handheld camera work, and quick editing to build tension. Diegetic sound, primarily the loud TV, increases tension throughout until silence after the climax, while occasional non-diegetic guitar adds to the dark tone.

Genre-social realism/black comedy.
My synopsis looks at a relatable issue: noise pollution, and the consequences.
It starts off with a young couple having a peaceful anniversary, but it is soon interrupted by the
loud sound of the TV coming from the adjacent room. The man tries to get the volume turned
down, but is not successful. He quickly becomes agitated and violent. The woman tries to calm
him down, but is repeatedly pushed back. Eventually their daughter, who is making the noise,
challenges the man, who then starts rummaging through cupboards and drawers to find
something to stop the noise with. After having a small panic attack, the man breaks the
daughter’s door down, and beats her. The woman tries to stop him, but is pushed away again.

effects. Camera will primarily be used to increase the tension, and keep the viewer
engaged.

will be used.
