• Go to Italy’s embassy to get a Schengen visa.
• Go online to find a cheap flight with minimum stops.
• Go online to find and reserve a cheap but comfortable hotel near to interesting
places.
• Pack my luggage with:
– Clothes
– Sunscreen
– Flip Flop
– Sandals
– Toothbrush
– Toothpaste
– Deodorant
– Deodorant talc
– Electric razor
– Tablet
– An interesting book to read during the flight.
• Buy with anticipation some tickets for interesting places.
• Call to my bank to activate my credit and debit cards for international
transactions, also activate its insurance.
• Change some colombian pesos to euros.
First day
• I can spend my first
day in “Piazza del
Duomo” the religious
and spiritual center
of Florence. Here, I
can visit famous
places like:
– the Cathedral
– the Campanile di
Giotto
– the Battistero di San
Giovanni
Second day
• I can spend my second day in
“Piazza della Signoria” the
center of political life in
Florence. Here, I can visit
famous places like:
– Palazzo Vecchio
– Logia dei Lanzi
• There are a lot of sculptures
with a great history each one.
• In summer, tourists can listen
to local artists who use this
place as their particular
scenario.
Third day
• I can spend my third day in
“Piazza della Signoria” in the
following museums:
– Accademia gallery of
Florence.
– Uffizi gallery
• There are a lot of famous and
important pictures and
sculptures from Renaissance
artist like Botticelli, Da Vinci,
Michelangelo, Rafael o Tiziano.
• The most famous sculptures is
David of Michelangelo. It is in
Accademia gallery.
Fourth day
• The fourth day is for
shopping. I can shopping
italian typical groceries
like cheese, wine, pasta
or oils. There are
exclusive boutiques in
streets near of Ponte
Vecchio.
• Also, on the streets of
Florence I can find many
shops to buy souvenirs.
Fifth day
• In Florence, between
tourist is very
popular to learn how
to make pasta or
traditional Tuscan
dishes such as
ribollita or
panzanella. There are
a lot of options to
take cooking classes.
Advices
• You should wear appropriate clothes when you visit
religious monuments. For women is recommended to
wear long skirts and knee headscarf and for men is
recommended wear serious dress pants.
• It’s good idea to use public buses for transportation to
save money.
• Don’t forget to carry cash money to pay in street
markets.
• Don’t forget to take camera. You will take a lot of
photos.
• To avoid long lines and waits in museums and
interesting places, you should reserve tickets in
advance or buy a guided visit.
