This 3-week study abroad program in Italy focuses on food and nutrition. Students will spend 19 nights in several Italian cities including Rome, Siena, Florence, Bologna, Verona, and Venice. The program includes 12 academic excursions, 11 cultural excursions, and guided tours of major sites. Students will visit food producers, take cooking classes, and sample regional specialties. They will learn about pasta, cheese, meats, wine, olive oil, rice, and balsamic vinegar while touring factories and mills.
