Farmworkers in North Carolina have poor working and living conditions. The Farm Labor Organizing Committee (FLOC) won a historic contract with Mt. Olive Pickle Company that unionized farmworkers in North Carolina for the first time. FLOC is now working to organize farmworkers in tobacco fields and improve conditions through collective bargaining agreements.
