The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University offers flexible education options for its MBA program, including traditional full-time programs as well as weekend and evening classes. It also offers online classes through Coursera, which have proven extremely popular. As a result, Kellogg is expanding its Coursera offerings to include more classes, such as one in marketing. Students can take the Coursera classes for free but must pay fees to receive certificates they can list on their resumes.

based in Atlanta, James (Jim) Shaw has an educational
background in business and finance. In addition to his
bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of
Oklahoma, Jim Shaw of Atlanta holds an MBA from
Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of
Management.
The Kellogg School of Management is perhaps best
known for its MBA programs. To account for the different
schedules of its student body, the school is committed to
offering as many different tracks for earning an MBA as
possible. For example, in addition to a traditional full-time
program, the school offers MBA programs comprising
weekend and evening classes.

 The Kellogg School also offers classes through the
online educational program Coursera, and these

Coursera, including one on marketing.
The Coursera classes are developed by Kellogg
School professors working with professionals in other
departments of Northwestern. The classes can be
taken for free; however, students must pay $79 to
receive a certificate for an individual class and $595
for a certificate for an entire specialization of multiple
classes that can be listed on their resumes.
