Kailash Satyarthi is a human rights activist from India who has worked to end child labor globally since leaving his job as an electrical engineer. He founded the Bachpan Bachao Andolan organization which has rescued over 78,500 child slaves from forced labor. Satyarthi also created the "Rugmark" international social tag which is used to identify carpets and rugs that were not produced using child labor.
