This document presents a proposal for an online master's degree program in English at the Panama Christian University. It identifies the problem that many graduates cannot continue their studies due to lack of time. The objectives are to develop an online learning system and diagnose student demand for an online English master's program. It will use surveys to collect data on the current student population in need of such a program. The study will take place at the university's headquarters and is expected to allow offering an affordable, virtual and modern online English master's degree program for graduates.

1. FINAL PROJECT
Chapter I
Topic: proposal for using WIZLQ and the smartphone in the English language teaching and
learning process in a virtual room for the students of the Panama Christian University
Statement of the problem:
The following conflicting description is in regards to the problem that is presenting today in most
public and private universities in Panama for to the students to take a master degree in English
online.
Formulation of the problem:
From the analysis to the situation uttered, it is taken as a research problem: "The requirement of
academic planning, marketing and advertising to promote online education in the Christian
University of Panama strategically by not considering online learning system.
Justification
We will develop this work because we see there is a necessity to offer online education to those
students who do not have time to devote to the studies.
Objectives
General: Develop an online learning modality that allows to implement a qualified technological
system.
Specific:
Diagnose the masters the demand online learning, including the English language in order to
gather information through surveys about the current student population that requires this
program.

2. Variable Identification
Independent: is the characteristic that is supposed to be the cause of the phenomenon studied.
In experimental research is named, the variable that the researcher manipulates. They are
elements or factors that explain a scientific phenomenon; it is identified as a cause or
antecedent.
Dependent:
It is a property that is changed by manipulating the independent variable. It is the factor that is
observed and measured to determine the effect of the independent variable. They are the
effects or results of the phenomenon to be investigated.
Delimitations
The study takes place in the headquarter of the Panama Christian University, located in the
District of Arraiján, but earlier this university had an extension in Los Pueblos in Juan Díaz
which closed its doors around 2011.
According to the census or registration of graduated students from the bachelor degree in
English from the beginning to date, it can be around 60 graduated students.
Statement of the hypothesis
If the Panama Christian University implements this method of e-learning, then they will be able
to offer an economic, virtual and modern English Master.
If we implement this system, then the English graduated students may take a master degree in
English online.

3. Chapter II
Topic
PROPOSAL FOR USING WIZLQ AND A SMARTPHONE IN THE TEACHING AND LEARNING
OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE IN A VIRTUAL CLASSROOM FOR TEACHERS AND
STUDENTS OF THE PANAMA CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY
Introduction
The proposed work shows in the first chapter the research topic, in the second one it clearly
tells the research or project, in the third one explains the reader with whom and where exactly it
will take place, in the fourth one shows the results expected from the research or project.
Antecedents
It refers to what has been done so far, quoting reference of previous researchers on this topic,
approaches, methods, and conclusions reached by theoretical interpretations.
Definition
The definition is part of fundamental concepts to describe and analyze the problem or issue that
is being considered. Furthermore, it defines the terms of simple or compound words in simple
language.
Description of the problem
The high population of graduated students from different universities in Panama that can not
continue studying a master degree in English.
Type of research
The research will take place within the field research methodology, establishing an interaction
between study objectives and reality.

4. Population
It has 20 people, including students, professors and administrative personnel
Data collection techniques
To collect the data, we will apply a survey to locate the current situation of the population that
needs a formation in post grade or master in the English language.
Data collection instruments
This survey should be designed with a series of open and closed questions as follows:
1 - Legal basis for public or private university.
2 - Master programs in the English language.
3 - Platform, infrastructure or computer equipment.
4 - Technology resources.
5 - Human resources.
6 - Master modality that offers: blended or online education
7 - Cost and duration of the master degree in English.
Results Analysis
After we apply the surveys, it should be tabulated the information and the same will become in
results of statistical graphic charts whose analysis will be presented in percentages.
