reason why we did this is because the soundtrack gives us an
idea of the pace and atmosphere we will working at.

RISK ASSESSMENT AND EQUIPMENT
• We have learnt several different things about safety and the equipment we use.
• An important thing we have learnt about safety is when and where we can film for
example it is unsafe to film at night in an urban area with a very expensive video camera.
Another example is filming on rail way tracks which is not only private property but also
    dangerous.
• We have learnt how to use the video camera also, including learning how to manual focus
and using the tripod to our advantage and get steady straight focused shots. We have
learnt that when using the video camera the bag, camera and additional equipment such
as artificial lighting must not be left unattended at any time as equipment has been stolen
    in the past.
• We have also learnt how to put up equipment quickly efficiently and without hurting one
    another an example is tripod.
WHAT WE HAVE LEARNT
We have learnt several different things about several different software as well as blogging
skills:
• Final cut pro: we have become very skillful with using final cut pro now not only being able
to edit sequences and films well but we can now speed up and slow down footage as well
as adding transitions and making titles, these skills are essential in making a good
    success and unique film opening.
• Soundtrack pro: we have learnt recently how to use soundtrack pro to add foley sounds
and music, it was a very difficult to get used to it but we eventually got the hang of it. We
learnt how to bring a sequence from final cut pro and then how to add foley sounds to this
sequence as well as music, music can be made on final cut pro buy putting sounds and
beats together to make a rhythm. You then have to import it back to final cut pro to get the
sequence as a film with the sounds you just made.
• We are required to blog frequently and learnt that it was best to use different forms of
media when possible as well as give detailed explanations of how and what you have
    learnt.
INSTITUTIONAL DETAIL & AUDIENCE DETAIL
The target audience of group 17’s film is 15-30 year old, this is fairly young audience and the
reason behind this target audience is because the type of film which is action, this attracts the
young population, statistically the younger population are most likely to to pay to go out and
watch films in the cinema so its only sensible to aim it at them. This age group is the biggest
group of cinema goers, so it is important to target them.
The characters in the film represent this younger population as well as reflecting their
attitudes audiences should identify with the characters.
