The '60s as a decade of music was probably the most
influential on the people. It made them act in ways
unimaginable even today. Most people think of music
in the '60s as a bunch of peace and love, but there was
more to the music than that.
The Beatles

The Beatles ware probably the most popular band in
the sixties.
The '70s were an artist's decade, where more and more
artists and bands were being recognized. You could go
into a record store and see albums from people you
had never heard of, and a week later they were an
international powerhouse. The '70s were probably the
greatest musical decadeever.

                   Kiss Elton John
The '80s were a decade dominated by big haired
screamers A.K.A. hard rockers like Metallica, Motley
Crue, and Poison. Even though hard rock ruled, many new
styles emerged like hip hop ,with pioneers such as Run -
D.M.C., and Public Enemy.

        Run DMC. michael jackson
The '90s were probably the decade with the greatest
variety of styles of music. The early '90s were ruled by
grunge bands like Guns 'n Roses, Nirvana, Sound
Garden, and Alice in Chains. Music from previous decades
sadly did not become as popular again, but you hear a lot
of it in hip-hop.

Deafness
As a child, he practiced to stop his father beating his
mother. As a man, his name is synonymous with musical
mastery, and he wrote the most famous notes of music in
the history of man. According to FlameHorse (who knows
his classical music), “(Beethoven’s) finest works are also
the finest works of their kind in music history: the 9th
Symphony, the 5th Piano Concerto, the Violin Concerto, the
Late Quartets, and the Missa Solemnis. And he achieved
all this despite being completely deaf for the last 25 years
of his life”.
Auto Accident- full arm amputation
Driving to a 1984 New Year’s Eve party, Def Leppard
drummer Rick Allen was thrown from his Corvette, severing
his left arm. Doctors initially reattached the arm, but were
forced to remove it due to infection. Soon after, Allen and
some engineers designed an electronic drum kit allowing
his left foot to play the snare.
Industrial Accident- partial finger amputation
After an accident in a sheet metal factory, 17 year old
southpaw Tony Iommi lost the tips of the middle and ring
finger of his right hand. He considered quitting music, but a
record by similarly-injured jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt
encouraged him to keep playing. After failing at playing
right-handed, Iommi strung his guitars with banjo strings
and wore plastic covers over the two damaged fingers.
