This article analyzes an art education documentary film from the 1950s to understand approaches to art teaching at that time. The film shows art being taught through child-centered, expressive activities focused on creativity and personal growth. By studying the film, the article seeks to learn how art education was practiced and the philosophical beliefs that guided it over half a century ago.
