the city itself because he appears larger than the

The sunlight and brightness behind him
shows that he is Turing his back on being a
moral person and heading for the darkness.
The clothing is very formal which has
connotation of elegance and wealth. This
combined with the centralized positioning
of the character shows power and it’s clear
that he is a dominant character.
The black leather gloves imply that the
character is sinister and has committed so
many crimes that he doesn’t want to get
caught by his fingerprints.
American is a country associated with strength
and world power so the use of flags may shows
that Jonny’s character is also stronger than most
people in the way American is compared to most
countries. It also suggests he goes against the law
and makes his own rules which others adhere to
as well.
The gun is also black so it fits in with this clothing
and the dangerous vibe he conveys. Its size
implies you wouldn’t want to come across a
person like this as the way he is holding the gun
implies he is ready for action. It’s not as brutal as
a knife but shows that the character does kill
people and that he might be the public enemy.
