If they are to withstand heavy, intense, channelled and/or slow traffic, pavement layers must have high strength and above all good resistance to rutting. An asphaltic concrete is considered to be rutting-resistant if its rutting depth is shown in tests to be less than 5 % after 30,000 cycles at 60 °C.

Securing your Kubernetes cluster_ a step-by-step guide to success !KatiaHIMEUR1
Today, after several years of existence, an extremely active community and an ultra-dynamic ecosystem, Kubernetes has established itself as the de facto standard in container orchestration. Thanks to a wide range of managed services, it has never been so easy to set up a ready-to-use Kubernetes cluster.
However, this ease of use means that the subject of security in Kubernetes is often left for later, or even neglected. This exposes companies to significant risks.
In this talk, I'll show you step-by-step how to secure your Kubernetes cluster for greater peace of mind and reliability.

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).

zkStudyClub - Reef: Fast Succinct Non-Interactive Zero-Knowledge Regex ProofsAlex Pruden
This paper presents Reef, a system for generating publicly verifiable succinct non-interactive zero-knowledge proofs that a committed document matches or does not match a regular expression. We describe applications such as proving the strength of passwords, the provenance of email despite redactions, the validity of oblivious DNS queries, and the existence of mutations in DNA. Reef supports the Perl Compatible Regular Expression syntax, including wildcards, alternation, ranges, capture groups, Kleene star, negations, and lookarounds. Reef introduces a new type of automata, Skipping Alternating Finite Automata (SAFA), that skips irrelevant parts of a document when producing proofs without undermining soundness, and instantiates SAFA with a lookup argument. Our experimental evaluation confirms that Reef can generate proofs for documents with 32M characters; the proofs are small and cheap to verify (under a second).

3. SERVICE LIFE
Lane’s HDPE pipe is a tough, durable, chemically inert product that is highly resistant
to abrasion and corrosion. AASHTO currently recognizes a 75 year service life for
corrugated HDPE pipe, while some DOT’s have even adopted a 100 year service life
protocol for this class of pipe. Coupled with the strength inherent in the corrugated
profile design, Lane’s HDPE pipe is designed to meet the most challenging service life
criteria defined for construction projects today.
HYDRAULICALLY EFFICIENT
The smooth interior of Lane’s double-wall HDPE pipe creates a hydraulically efficient
flow that meets the strictest values specified for gravity drainage. Hydraulic tests performed over the years consistently show a
Manning’s n in the range of 0.009 to 0.011. The major investigation cited in this regard is the 2005 Utah State University study
which recognized an effective Manning’s n as low as 0.010. A Manning’s n for design is conservatively factored to 0.012 to account
for the varying affects of field installations as compared to the laboratory environment.
FITTINGS AND CUSTOM FABRICATION
Lane’s fitting fabrication shop produces a full assortment of standard fittings and special fabrications in all diameters. These fittings
are used in storm water storage, flow control and water quality applications. Standard and special drawings are available from Lane
to aid the designer in the use of corrugated HDPE for related applications.
WATER-TIGHT JOINT CONFIGURATIONS
Bell and spigot couplers are provided on nominal 20 ft pipe lengths for diameters ranging from 6” to 48”. With the inclusion of a
factory installed gasket meeting the requirements of ASTM F477, properly installed bell and spigot couplers can provide a water-
tight connection (i.e. laboratory pressure tested to 10.8 psi per ASTM D3212). Third party test results are available to certify the pipe
joints meet the laboratory water-tight requirements of ASTM D3212.
INSTALLATION
Corrugation profiles are designed to produce extremely high strength-
to-weight ratios, which makes installation one of the main advantages
over other pipe types. Load carrying capacities increase with the quality of
embedment material and compaction levels. Installations in accordance
with AASHTO, ASTM D2321 or Lane’s published guidelines will ensure proper
performance at the minimum and maximum cover heights possible with
Lane’s corrugated HDPE pipe.
