2. Brife Introduction
Tangshan Coal Research Institute(TSCRI) is established in 1956,is a large comprehensive scientific research institute
specializing in coal preparation,mine survey,hydraulic coal mining and pipeline transport in the chinese coal industry.In
July 1999,it was transformed into a large technology enterprise under the administration of China's central
government.In the March 2000,Tiandi Science &Technology Co.,Ltd was founded,which was listed at shanghai stock
exchange in May 2002.The institute currently has more than 1500 staff including about 600 engineers,of whom 150 are
senior researchers and engineers.

Over 60 years since the institute was established ,705 scientific research achievements were made,of which 192
national,provincial and misnisterial prizes for scientific and technological progress and 138 national patents were
obtained.85 China national and industry standards were also developed by the institute.
In 2014,DIRO Technology branch of TSCRI was set up to exchange advanced coal technology with the international
coal research institute.

5. History of FGX/FX Technology
1989, TSCRI developed out advanced coal
deshaling technology,FGX-1 dry coal separator.
This technology has been indentified by the
former Ministry of Coal Industry and was awarded
the second prize on scientific and technological
progress.
1997-2008,FGX-3/6/9/12 compound dry coal
separator are worked out successively .
Phase 1
1992,TSCRI has developed out FX-12
dry coal preparation system,on basis of
CTT-12 dry washing machine
introduced from Russia,which is better
adaptive and has been widely used at
many coal washery plant.

8. De-shaling Function
●Be able to remove more than 90% coal reject.
●On average,the ash content can decrease5-15% and
calorific value can increase 500-1500 calories.
●It greatly increase the clean coal recovey rate.

9. De-sulfur Function
● The three forms of sulfur commonly measured in coal are
organic, pyritic and sulfate. The former two usually are
named combustible sulfur because they can burn.But sulfate
can only transformer to one kind of ash and canot burn.
● More than 90% Sulfur in the coal reject is pyritic.There are little
organic and sulfate.
● Romoving coal reject means removing most sulfur.

10. Features of structure of FX dry coal separation
Separation bed surface is supported by four connecting rods, the
bed surface has certain angles in horizontal and longitudinal
direction, which can be adjusted as the coal quality.The bed
surface is a rectangle with a rifffles.Riffles and bed surface
formed a groove.

The driving device is mainly consist of gear box, driving rocker arm,
driving shaft, driven shaft and eccentric block.Different driving
amplitudes can be adjusted according to different coal quality.

Raw coal is carried out interference sedimentation,under the joint action of air and vibration,
heavy particle sink at bottom of bed surface,while light particles lift upper bed surface,density layer is formed.
12. Features of structure of FX dry coal separation
FGX composed of separation deck,vibrator,air
chamber,frame,hanging unit,etc.The separation deck is composed
of the deck surface,back plate,riffles and discharge baffle
plate.Under the deck is an air chamber into which the air is
supplied via a centrifugal fan at controllable quantities.Hang teh
separation bed and vibrator on the frame through using haning
unit,so that transvesal angle and longitudinal angle can be
adjusted randomly.
13. Features of FGX dry coal separator
The FGX technology provides an innovative and cost-
effective dry coal processing process that integrates the
separation principles of an autogenous medium separator
and a conventional table concentrator. Three product
streams including deshaled product, middlings and tailing
streams are obtained through this process. Two dust
collection mechanisms are employed, making the
technology environmentally friendly.
