The Fete des Rois is a celebration held on January 6th in France and other French-speaking countries. It commemorates the visit of the Three Wise Men to baby Jesus. During the celebration, a cake called a galette des rois is eaten which contains a small figurine, and whoever finds the figurine in their piece becomes "king" for the day.
